Maternity Update | Due This Month!

This week I went in for my 37 week check-up, and Ms. OG told us two important news.  One is she thinks my hip is wide enough to give birth naturally, and that she thinks Roma may come a little early (38-39 weeks) instead of 40+.  Two is, she remarked about the shortness of Roma's leg relative to his week-old, average statistics and length of his mum (i.e. me).  Mr. A and I have no bad feeling about this comment and we find it funny in some ways.  Now my sisters are determined to stretch (pull) his leg as much as possible, and Mr. A will force baby to do sports (he himself isn't particularly active...).  :P

Also this week, we finished the antenatal course we enrolled at our hospital.  The course covered prenatal care, labour and delivery, postnatal care and how to take care of the newborn.  It is definitely very introductory but the nurses and instructors (dietician, paediatric, midwife, etc) were helpful.  The other 'benefit' of the course is a lot of PR samples were distributed, from diaper to wipes, chew toys to newborn underwear, baby bath to feminine wash... Now I'm pretty well stocked with baby toiletry from brands like Chicco (Italy), SebaMed (Germany) and Mustela (France).
