Finished Fortnight #11 | (More) April Empties 用光不少正品~

It's been a good fortnight.  這兩個星期，托賴，清貨速度還不錯。

Full size products I have used up include a shampoo, an acne cleanser, two make up remover, a hydrating serum and an eye liner.  Pretty impressive, right?

潘婷洗頭水普通，洗完不特別滑，不特別豐盈…  Proactiv 活膚潔面乳我用來清潔背部，因為我臉部沒有太多油／暗瘡，所以我用來洗背脊（暗瘡從來沒有離開過我）。用完一瓶的感覺，感覺不錯，是不起泡的乳狀。雖然背部暗瘡還沒有完全清理掉，感覺麻，有用有保佑… 現在在用第二瓶（也是 Glamabox 中來的）…嗯，我另外還有用綠瓶的 Bioderma 雙重清潔背部，希望這個夏天可以有「無暇」得背部美肌（！？） Naruko 水仙卸妝油幕斯愛用，不過和其他自動出泡的瓶裝一樣，用量很兇，而且這款也改版了… Avon保濕精華 不愛；有一種塑膠味。 Heroine Make 睫毛液卸除，不時買睫毛液都有特惠組，裡面送的。用來卸特防水的 Heroine Make 或 Majolica Majorca 很有效！ Gosh眼線便宜好用，出色不暈，可惜在屈臣氏做不住，要撤櫃… :S

Pantene Clinicare Full and Thick Shampoo (discontinued/ re-packaged)

Doesn't make my hair grow more or faster.  Not made my hair fuller or thicker looking.  I think I won't go back to Pantene Clinicare except for the travel size treatment or conditioner.  There are too many new and better things to try out there!

I got this, and a second bottle of this, from Glamabox.  It is a non-foaming milky cleanser with some exfoliating beads in.  I only use this on my back as that's the only place where I break-out.  Now after one bottle my back is definitely less pimple-ful but active acne is still present.  Now I also use Bioderma Sebium H2O Micellar Water (the green cap not the pink cap) to double-cleanse.  

Naruko Narcissus Total Defense Make-up Removing Mousse (discontinued/ re-named/ re-branded/ re-packaged into this)

Lovely. I use this for face make up only, and I always double cleanse with another cleanser. Pretty effective and does its job. I love how it really dispense nice thick foam and has a clean fresh narcissus flower scent. (the other Naruko oil, the Rose and the Magnolia aren't as good smelling.) Also, as it is a foam, it washes off really easily and not leave any greasy/thick residue.  This is now discontinued, the new Narcissus line has a new mousse cleanser which is a combination of this (make up removal oil mousse) and the previous basic mousse cleanser.   It is called Narcissus DNA Repair Make-up Removing Cleansing Mousse...

Avon Solutions Plus Maximum Moisture Hydrating Booster Surhydratant (discontinued)

It is an okay serum/moisturiser.  I find its texture quite thick, slightly glue-y.  The scent has a plastic, play-doh tint to it and not very appealing.

Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara Remover (re-named/ re-branded/ re-packaged into Isehan Heroine Make...)

These always come in sets together with the mascaras.  The previous Kiss Me brand, or now the Isehan, both offer this great deal.  I find this very helpful and effective to be a pre-cleanse for super waterproof mascaras such as the Heroine Make or Majolica Majorca ones.  Fasio also makes a similar mascara remover.  If I have to pick one out of the two, I will pick Fasio, but this Heroine Make will also do me very well!

Great pigmentation, waterproof and smudge-proof, also affordable.  This is a creamy dark brown, very wearable.  I still have several different shades of this liner in my stash so I won't be repurchasing this soon.  Oh, and on a side note: Gosh is now withdrawing from local Watson's.  What a pity.  

有點小懶，只完成了兩片蝸牛面膜。 Dermal, Sasatinnie這兩款都不錯用，基本保濕／修護的訴求，蠻推薦的！ Philosophy的沐浴／洗髮／泡泡浴三用，我只用來沐浴用；香，而且用量很省。但要我付原價，我就不買啦～ Holika Holika妝前保養越用越愛，有去角質，保濕打底的作用，後續化的妝貼服持久！

More about these two masks in my last snail mask review post. In short, both of these are Hurray/Okay ones that I recommend trying and will consider buying again!

Smells great, a little amount gives a lot of foam. I enjoyed using this (up), but this scent isn't so amazing that I will shell out the cash on a full size... Not sure if a shower gel or a foaming cleanser should worth that much. But if there's a scent that impress me, I won't mind buying Philosophy shower gels though. ;)

Used this to prep my skin before make up in the morning. Rub this serum/solution pad on; one side first, then the opposite, according to the instructions. Not irritating at all, exfoliates and brightens and adds just enough moisture. Make up applied nicely on top and stayed all day. I will get some of these if I go to Korea again!

Random stuff:

AnthonG Easy Pump Bottle 120ml (web shop link)

I purchased this along with the small bottle wanting to decant some cleansing water from its bulky original container, to facilitate daily usage. However, same as the smaller one, this leaks. Big Fat Fail. Now that I am left with half a bottle of 500ml cleansing water, it isn't that much a hazzle to pour and use every day. Also, the new Bioderma 500ml bottle comes with a built in pump dispenser. Two big thumbs up - for Bioderma HK!

Razor (from Sasa)

Don't know what brand this is, but it says "Made in Japan".  I will repurchase shorter blades as my face isn't as big and flat as I thought. These are great to groom brows and around the mouth.  Side note:  Nowadays most 'good' razors have blades made in Japan and the handle/assembly done in China.  

One of my holy grail cotton pads. It is cheap - today's price is inflated to $15 at Colourmix - and comes in a bag of 200+ pieces.  I like how it is slightly more sturdy than normal cotton, with a thin layer of textured 'net' on the surface, holds onto make up and nail polish better when you're taking them off.  I did a review and comparison between the two Suzuran's cotton squares here.  I find my new love the UltraReady exfoliating/textured cotton rounds even better in applying toner, but this is cheaper, and I will always repurchase. ;)

Good taste, does the job.  Not very whitening though.

Always go through these in my empties. I normally just use these on my hands, but sometimes I also wipe down my iPad, desk, vanity, laptop and what-not with these.  When Mr. A's face is oily and grimy I also throw one of these on his face and wipe it down.  :P  I prefer the fragrance free (blue) ones although I do like the peach (apricot coloured) ones.  

Disappointing Discards - Actually I'm going to give away some of these to my friends, not straight to the bin...

I don't ever use this and I nearly never colour treat my hair.

Too strong I find it unbearable...

No idea how this works and can't make it work.  Doesn't add volume to my hair.  Or maybe just that I'm not good at blow-drying my hair.

I don't like its smell, and I do not reapply moisturiser during the day.

Love the vibration tip, hate the eye cream.  It has a silicone/smooth pore filler kind of texture.  Doesn't absorb into the eye area and doesn't do anything to my eyes.
